Michael Mardis graduated high school as valedictorian in 2002 from Parkway Christian Academy in Birmingham, Ala. In May 2006, she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Summa Cum Laude, from Auburn University with a major in Human Resource Management and a minor in Finance.

Michael has worked in the human resources department of Children's Health System in Birmingham, Alabama since May 2005 in an HR Generalist role. She has also served at president for the Auburn University chapter of The Society for Human Resource Management for two consecutive years. Her areas of particular interest in human resources include training & development, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and HR information systems.

She is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration at Auburn and hopes to eventually enter into an HR Generalist position with a reputable company. She hopes to advance into a Director of Human Resource Services position and then, eventually, Vice President of Human Resources.

Michael will be focusing on various areas of human resources that might concern those seeking entry level positions. She welcomes any questions or topics that readers would like to be discussed.
